Selinde’s Parish Update

Dear St. Mary’s family,

I’m stunned and delighted to bring you good news.

A final heart test in early May showed that my heart is "perfectly fine!”

So I’m off the heart medications. With this news, I met with the bishop and discussed my return to parish duties. I am taking the month of June as my annual holidays and will return to St. Mary’s in July.

I am very grateful to Rev. Alan for being willing to continue to lead the parish in my absence.

May 29th was the five-year anniversary of my ordination to the priesthood so it’s a wonderful time to share my news!  Thank you for the beautiful cards and good wishes. Your love and support over these past months have meant a lot to me.

I look forward to being with you in just over a month’s time.
