This Sunday is our patronal saint (St. Mary) feast day so plan to stay for lunch in the hall after the service. No need to bring anything to contribute… all will be provided!      

If you haven’t already done so, pick up your Parish Directory in the Hall this Sunday. We are asking for $7.00 towards the printing costs.

Community Dinner:  10 days from now MONDAY AUGUST 20th from 4-6:00pm. Pulled pork, beans, coleslaw & all the fixings.  Dessert too! Can you help out?  Thank you! The volunteer sign-up sheet will be in the hall this Sunday.

New FRIDGE procedure in place. When you put a food or beverage item in the fridge, please write the date you opened it on a sticker and put that sticker on the item. Otherwise it’s difficult to know how long food and drink languish in the fridge/freezer. Thanks for your cooperation.    

Bible Study continues throughout August – Wednesdays at 10:30 in in the library. Thank you, Trefor, for leading.      

Our Flower Fund is depleted.  Donating flowers for the altar is a wonderful way to bring colour and beauty into the church and to honour your loved ones, living or dead. Sign up for a Sunday on the Altar Flower Calendar in the Hall and follow the directions there for what you need to do.        

Looking ahead: Parish Council meets on Wednesday, August 22nd at 12:30pm in the library.

And last but not least….the Roster Board is extremely EMPTY!  Please HELP me out!

The Guild is looking for some new people.  It is a wonderful way to relax, prepare and share your gifts with this Ministry.  The training is also very low key! Maria Sanson would love to hear from you.  And now you can look it up in your trusty new Parish Directory.
