This Sunday is the fourth and last Sunday in Advent. January 2019 St. Mary’s calendar & readings are also available for pick up this Sunday. We have attached the calendar for your convenience also.
Christmas Eve service (Monday December 24th) is at 7pm. There is no gathering in the Hall after. NOTE: When leaving please hand back the hymn insert of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah! It is needed for Christmas Day service also.
Christmas Day service (Tuesday December 25th) is at 10am followed by coffee in the library and our COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS MEAL at 1pm (Turkey and Ham with all the trimmings). If you can help with especially the clean up, please contact Jean Russell or Pat Nicoll.
We celebrate Lessons and Carols on Sunday December 30th at 10am. We need readers for this event. Please sign up in the Hall after the service on Sunday. Thank you!|
Your ENVELOPES for 2019 are ready for you to pick up at the back of the church this Sunday.
Our Roster Board is completely empty. Feel free to come by with your datebooks and fill some spaces in!
Attention: Readers and people preparing Prayers of the People, and anyone interested in either, there will be a tri-parish workshop here at St. Mary’s on Saturday, January 19th from 10am – 2pm. Please register with KAT in the office. There will something for new and experienced folk (besides a free lunch!)
The office will be closed on Boxing Day (Dec. 26th) through to Sunday morning (Dec. 30). In case of an emergency, please contact your one of your wardens. (Take your bulletin home today and you will have those phone numbers!)

The Bishop's Christmas letter to us all is posted by my office door where you will find all the parish and Diocesan notices and information (like Parish Council minutes, Rector's reports, financial information, upcoming workshops, etc.) The board with Community Information is now in the side entrance hall.
Nominations to Parish Council now open. There are three positions to fill at the February 17 Vestry Meeting. If you are interested or curious please speak to Clair, Elaine or Jean.
