LENT 2021

There is a Special Lent Letter attached from Alan for your review. Also attached is a Lenten 40 day calendar Marrianna Westinghouse shared.  It’s meant to be FUN!  And at the end of the 40 days, it would wonderful if the tally was part of your LENT OFFERING.

'RENEW', A Lenten video series with Bishop Anna Greenword-Lee, begins on Ash Wednesday, February 17 and marks the beginning of the 40 days of Lent. The word 'Lent' can be traced to an Old English word 'lecten' which is related to 'lengthen' referring to the lengthening of days in the Spring season. It's a time for spiritual renewal and what some call a "spiritual spring". So we offer you this series, 'Renew', consisting of seven 2-minute reflections during these 40 long days before Easter. The videos will be available on Twitter, Facebook and in the media section of the Diocesan website beginning Wednesday, February 17 and each Wednesday after that during Lent.

If you are housebound we can deliver, or KAT can take some home to Parksville to leave outside on your front step!
