Are you garage or cupboard cleaning?  an extraordinary Treasure Trove and Fun Day at St. Mary’s in the parking lot - June Jumble “Jems”  on SATURDAY JUNE 1st from 9:00 – 2:00pm.   We are looking for household items, tools etc.  and we will take clothing.  Also If you have extra  garden pots for transplanting,  please bring them on Sunday for anyone who needs them.  Sign-up sheet in Hall too! Marrianna and Sue Godfreyson have graciously offered to co-chair the event so if you have questions, please talk to them. 

Sunday May 19:  3rd Sunday – EfM (Education for Ministry) is a wonderful way to grow in understanding and wisdom in your Christian faith. Just ask Pat Nicoll, Jean Christopher, Graham Fowler or Cindy Corrigan! 

Monday May 20           Community Dinner 4-6pm.  Lasagna FEAST.  Don’t miss it.

Saturday May 25          Living Discipleship 9:00-3:30: Community of Learning Module 2 at St. Philip’s Cedar.  FREE  Lunch  and snacks provided.  Bishop Logan is the facilitator for this module.  You need to register.  Check out the poster in the Hall. 

Saturday  June 8         12:30 – 4:00 pm            Regional Gathering here at St. Mary’s! 

Wednesday  June 12    5:00-7:00pm                       Parish Social at Mary Holte’s.

Thursdays June 13-July 11.  How does dementia effect communciation?  Come and find out at the upcoming FAMILY CAREGIVER SERIES hosted here at St. Mary’s (5 Thursday evenings). FREE but you need to Pre-register. See poster in the Hall. Tell your friends and neighbours. St. Mary’s  is providing a light supper at 6pm. 

IN JULY - Get your tickets for the Shawnigan Lake School Tour of the grounds and entertainment on Wednesday July 31; 1pm grounds open. The tickets will be available this Sunday from Shirley Hardy or the church office Tues-Thurs.  There is a U drive at $35/person or $50/person for the bus.
