The Safe Church program requires certification once every five years for those who are involved in the more sensitive ministries in the church. Those who take the course are also required to have a Criminal Record Check done. Most of the issues are around maintaining privacy of personal information and issues around the care of children, bascially making St. Mary's a safe and welcoming place for all
Val D. keeps track of recording accreditation and the reporting of incidents of which there have been none to report over the last serveral years.
