FROM DEEP IN OUR ARCHIVES - The turning of the sod for the addition to St. Mary’s Church in 1999 was done by Rick Earl of Watercress Developments Inc., the builder of the addition completed in 2000; Michael Cartlidge, member of the Building Committee 1987-1989; Jim Bailey, remembered for his work on the church hall that was moved from St. Edmund’s early in 1990; Alex Greenwood, Chairman of the original Building Committee 1987-1989; and Eve (Braddock) Knight, representing the history of parishioners from St. Mary the Virgin, where the Braddock family worshipped when the church was active in Errington. To commemorate the new addition to the church, Charles Seamone, St. Mary's church organist, composed the St. Mary’s Hymn of Thanksgiving in 2000, in collaboration with Ethel McNeill, Choir Director. There are items for sale (by donation) in the hall - check them out after the service.
