We are trying to save paper, so if you can read the 2019 Annual Report online, that would help! There will be a few hard copies available at the back of the church on Sunday.
Thursday January 30th
4:45pm: Anniversary Dinner & FUN - You are INVITED!
Tickets on sale Sunday. Invite your friends. Tickets are only 30 coins/person, so SAVE your change! No coins?…$5 is worth 10 coins. Lasagna and a no-alcohol fizzy beverage will be served, with a pasta-free option available for KETO fans.
FROM DEEP in OUR ARCHIVES - In the 1980s, to raise money for a building fund, the ladies held bazaars and bake sales, while Dennis Page and two other men worked for three months along with 12 prisoners and a guard from Brennan Lake Prison to cut, load and sell firewood using dead and fallen trees on the property. After the church building was moved to its current site, Dennis Page and Ken Thomas created the stained glass windows behind the original altar.
Offering Envelope Users - Stay tuned for more information on what to do with your old offering envelopes. Should you want a set of envelopes for 2020 and do not yet have them, please contact our Envelope Secretary Barb Williams or email her.
A lovely brown, butterfly-motif duffel bag, purple coat, purple fleece and other outerwear was left at the church. Please let KAT know what we are supposed to do with it.
