Tumaini Bottle Drive & Yard Sale THIS Saturday July 13; 10am-2pm.  Yard Sale Sorting in the Hall this Friday July 12; 1-4pm.   Remind your neighbours & friends to bring items or recyclables to the church or call Val to arrange pick-up.  RAIN OR SHINE…and crossing our fingers and toes  Mother Nature will be kind!

SHAWNIGAN LAKE SCHOOL FUNDRAISER; July 31st is fast approaching.  Invite your friends, those up here in Oceanside, and those down Island.  We are half way to achieving our fund raising goal!  The more…the merrier!  This is a rare opportunity to see the grounds of this exclusive private school in full bloom and meet the master gardener, Eduardo. The museum is nothing to sneeze at and covers over 100 years of interesting history. The organ concert in the stunning chapel will be a world class performance; and the tea afterwards, simply delightful. What can we say?! We have a very special day planned for everyone who comes.  The cost is only $35 per person ($50 if you want to ride the bus both ways) and all the proceeds benefit St. Mary’s.
