After service this Sunday there will be an interment for Winnifred (Wynne) Mitchell.  Please feel free to come to the Memorial Garden.  She was a member here when the church first came from Errington.

Tumaini Bottle Drive & Yard Sale Saturday July 13; 10am-2pm.  Remind your neighbours & friends to bring items or recyclables to the church or call Val to arrange pick-up. Yes… the yard sale is happening even though we just had the June Jumble Sale.  Lots of treasures! 

Next FREE Community Dinner is Jul 15; 4-6pm.  Come and try the delicious summer fare of burgers, salads & dessert!  Please give Elaine a shout if you can volunteer.

SHAWNIGAN LAKE SCHOOL FUNDRAISER; July 31st. Invite your friends, those up here in Oceanside, and those down Island.  We are half way to achieving our fund raising goal!  The more…the merrier!  This is a rare opportunity to see the grounds of this exclusive private school in full bloom and meet the master gardener, Eduardo. The museum is nothing to sneeze at and covers over 100 years of interesting history. The organ concert in the stunning chapel will be a world class performance; and the tea afterwards, simply delightful. What can we say?! We have a very special day planned for everyone who comes.  The cost is only $35 per person ($50 if you want to ride the bus both ways) and all the proceeds benefit St. Mary’s.
