SHAWNIGAN LAKE SCHOOL FUNDRAISER on July 31st is fast approaching.  Invite your friends, those up here in Oceanside, and those down Island.  We are half way to achieving our fundraising goal.  The more the merrier!  This is a rare opportunity to see the grounds of this exclusive private school in full bloom and meet the master gardener, Eduardo. The museum covers over 100 years of interesting history. The organ concert in the stunning chapel will be a world class performance, and the tea afterwards simply delightful.  We have a very special day planned for everyone who comes.  The cost is only $35 per person ($50 if you want to ride the bus both ways) and all the proceeds will benefit St. Mary’s.  Please note: the bus departing from St. Mary’s will be loading 10:45am and leaving at 11:00am.  If you have invited guests to take the bus, please let them know. For the U-drive folks, a “HOW TO GET THERE” map will be available this Sunday.

Parish Council Meeting in the library August 7th 12:30pm. 

The next Community Dinner is Monday Aug. 19, 4-6 pm.  Pulled pork and all the fixings.  Don’t miss it!
