September Calendars  & Readings are available on Sunday and they are also attached here for your convenience.

A big thank you to Jennifer & John Creighton for giving the first coat of paint to the lattice on the new Memorial Board.  NOW we only need 2 volunteers to finish it off with a 2nd coat; one on each side.  Any time will do; the brushes & paint brushes are outside and available in the Memorial Garden. 

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!  Safe Church Level 1 is offered again Thursday Sept. 12; 1-4pm at St. Peter in Comox.   We have one person tentatively attending who would welcome some company!  Let Val know if interested.   

The We Together Conference is SOLD OUT.  at St Paul’s in Nanaimo this year.  Thanks to all who stepped forward to help out with the billeting. 

We really need some people to step up and help out  (training provided!):

1.     Altar Guild is short a person or two. If you would enjoy a meditative practice of setting up the altar for communion on Sunday, and can spare an hour or two once a month, this is a rewarding way of serving your community and God. Please speak to Marrianna or Selinde if you are interested. 

2.     Assistant to the Treasurer: Deana Thomson has graciously offered to help out when Jennifer is away in Mexico.  THANK YOU SO MUCH! 

HUB Wednesday starts up again September 4.  Bible Study at 10:30 with lunch after.  If you can help with the soup prep please let KAT know. 

Selinde and her husband, Jim, are looking for a second-hand, light-weight dinghy. If you know of one for sale, please let Selinde know.
